Hospice Haven
A warm, home-like inpatient center where our compassionate clinical team cares for patients and families when more support is needed.
A place that feels like home
Hospice Haven is our inpatient center on the Richmond County Hospice campus, a warm, personalized space designed to feel like home rather than a hospital. Patients have their own private room, families have somewhere to gather and rest, and our clinical team is here around the clock.
The Haven is used in two main ways: for acute symptom management when comfort at home becomes difficult, and for respite care so family caregivers can take a much-needed break.

“What a beautiful place — very warm and comfortable surroundings. The staff has been compassionate and truly treated our mother well. We could not have had better care.”
Two ways the Haven helps
Acute symptom management
When symptoms become difficult to manage at home, our clinical team can stabilize and care for patients here in a fully equipped, home-like setting, with round-the-clock expertise.
Respite care
Family caregivers need rest too. A short stay at Hospice Haven gives caregivers time to recharge while their loved one is cared for by our team.
