The Forever Tree
A holiday remembrance program for those carrying loss. Dedicate an ornament, share a name, and watch the Forever Tree glow all season long.
A quiet pause in a busy season
The holidays bring joy for many, and for families who are grieving, they can bring a particular kind of weight. The Forever Tree is our way of stepping into that season alongside you: a small evening to honor the lives that continue to shape ours.
We hold two intimate services each December, one on the Richmond County Hospice campus and another at our Anson Community Hospice campus. During each gathering we read names aloud, take a moment with our memories, and light the Forever Tree together. Names placed at the service stay on the tree, which is lit through the rest of the holiday season.
Afterward, please stay for fellowship. Coffee, appetizers, and desserts are served, and the conversations that follow are often where comfort lives, quiet reminders that no one is grieving alone.
What the evening looks like
Two services, two campuses
A small, intimate gathering is held on the Richmond County Hospice campus and another at our Anson Community Hospice campus.
A name, an ornament
Each ornament is dedicated in honor of a person you love or in memory of someone you've lost. Names are placed on the Forever Tree.
Lit through the season
The trees stay lit throughout the holidays, a steady, glowing reminder that love continues.
Fellowship to follow
After the brief service we share light refreshments together: coffee, appetizers, desserts, and the comfort of being with one another.
